Rules of Engagement (RoE)

These are the Rules of Engagement.

If you don’t understand something please message us within the game.

These rules are there to just protect yourselves but the alliance as a whole, not following these rules affects everyone, even if it doesn’t seem like it at the time. Rule breakers will be dealt with accordingly.

What are protected:

– Empty survey ships (UPC)
– Survey ships in territory space (including OPC) if belonging to territory owners. (Alliances should match)
– All ships in swarm space
– All ships in systems you need a token to enter
– Ships in an armada

What are explicitly not protected:
– OPC survey ships in non-protected systems
– UPC survey ships on zero nodes after you’ve sent a 2 minute warning in private message
– Warships in non-protected systems
– Player stations

When RoE doesn’t apply:

– When two Alliances are at war
– When a player or Alliance has been declared KoS
– In an event system where the event requires RoE to be broken
– During territory takeover

Miscellaneous:

-All hostile actions between alliances should be ceased during an incursion event

RoE Definitions:

– “miner”/”Survey”; Any Survey ship unless it is involved in PvE or PvP activities(same systems).
– “empty”;(UPC) Any ship with no resources to steal by destroying it.
– “over protected cargo”; (OPC) Any ship that after scanning has resources onboard.
– “zero node”; A mining node with no resources left to gather.
– Roe does not apply in Event systems or while a takeover is going on (only if the event requires a break of rule)
